Moving Loads by Lifting and Slinging
Every year workers are killed or injured when moving loads, especially when using mechanical devices to move them by lifting and swinging. This course is aimed to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and competence required to perform straight non-complex lifts.
The course covers techniques for the safe use of chains, ropes, slings, hooks and other lifting equipment, and aims to minimise accidents when moving loads.
