Performance appraisals are a powerful way of developing staff and maximising their potential. A well conducted performance appraisal can lead to high morale and lower staff turnover. Formal appraisals are just one part of an organisation’s system of ongoing management support that involve such tasks as delegating, goal setting, training, coaching and motivating.

The focus of the training is to develop manager’s appraisal skills, maximise on current strengths and develop/share good working practices. The course is based around the structure of a organisation’s appraisal process; using forms and guidelines.
